Jessica Yu is a national board-certified physician associate specializing in skin cancer surveillance and management of chronic skin conditions including acne, alopecia, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. She has extensive experience managing and assisting in Mohs surgery and postoperative wound care. She enjoys reviewing skincare and ways to support better skin, hair, and nail health.

Jessica was born and raised in the Bay Area. She spent her undergraduate studies at University of California, San Diego and graduated with her Master’s degree of physician assistant studies at Boston University School of Medicine in 2021 with an elective track in surgery. Jessica spent her first 2 years in emergency medicine and urgent care before transitioning to dermatology.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Remi, exploring new cafes, running, and backpacking.
